Fatigue - It's All Burning
November 1st, 2024
It's All Burning is a new EP of original tracks from synth-pop artist Fatigue, the songwriting project of New England-based DJ/producer Lillian Edith Martin. The music of Fatigue has thrived in realms of anxiety, depression, social unrest, and queer identity set to thudding club beats, winding synths, and uneasy glitches and malfunctions. It's All Burning is no exception to this, touching upon an array of darkwave sounds while eccentrically fusing genres outside of the scene into a kind of chimera of eminently danceable madness.
This time around there is a guiding, thematic conceit built into the EP's 4 tracks:
Destruction, decay, and collapse.
Whether meditating on panic attacks, mourning the death of a dream no longer within reach, obsessing over one's own writer's block, or simply cutting loose a toxic personality, there's one central motif to Fatigue's new tracks:
It's All Burning.
Burning bridges. Burning the candle at both ends. Burning through one's energy. Burning the structural foundation of society.
It's All Burning.

Dilemma - Becoming Alive
October 31st, 2024
"A not too distant future. Starved desire for digital attention had created a world dominated by physical apprehension; sounds, colors and sights muddled and grayed by a malady of indifference. But there in the crowd – that’s when you saw her. Black lips, though she was in color. Unafraid, unaffected, she began to move. As if by design, with the fluidity of her motion the crowd began to twitch. Was it symbiotic? Led by this muse, everything kicked back in all at once, pulsing to the beat of the drum to a rhythm she inspired"
"Some say she’s setting the world on fire. But I see she is bringing out hidden desires. Some say she’s setting a bad example, but I say she is living proof that we can feel."
The Becoming Alive EP is a collection of four tracks inspired by goth culture, each representing a different sub-genre of goth music to give back to the community for all its done to help define me. Becoming Alive is a panacea for what ails you, a wake-up call to your slumbering desires. Join me, follow her lead, and dance as if you are becoming alive.

Pixelgrinder - The Void Chamber

Pixelgrinder Unveils Debut Album ‘The Void Chamber’ – A Cinematic Journey of Sound Inspired by Cochlear Implant Experience
A bold new voice in industrial and electronic music, pixelgrinder’s debut album releases October 18th, 2024, offering listeners an immersive exploration of dark, dystopian soundscapes.
Pixelgrinder, an industrial and electronic artist known for his unconventional relationship with sound, is set to release his highly anticipated debut album, The Void Chamber, on October 18th, 2024. The album represents a profound sonic journey inspired by pixelgrinder's personal experience with hearing loss and the transformative impact of receiving cochlear implants in 2019. The Void Chamber presents a unique fusion of heavy, experimental soundscapes influenced by both industrial music and the world of science fiction.
Born with severe hearing loss, pixelgrinder’s connection to sound has always been distinct. In 2019, after years of wearing hearing aids, his hearing deteriorated further, prompting him to undergo cochlear implant surgery -- a life-changing event that ultimately shaped the creative vision behind The Void Chamber. “Getting cochlear implants changed how I perceived sound and music entirely,” explains pixelgrinder. “I found myself drawn to genres and textures I had never connected with before, and the feeling of having bionic ears pushed me to reimagine how I create music.”
The album is a four-year labor of love, blending pixelgrinder’s personal experiences with an exploration of darker, cinematic themes. Drawing inspiration from the sound design of sci-fi films and video games, and artists like David Lynch, The Void Chamber immerses listeners in a brooding, futuristic underworld. Tracks like "Verge of Collapse" and "Latex Mask" feature heavy, pulsating rhythms and eerie industrial textures, while songs like "The Bismuth Wastelands" provide brief moments of reprieve with meditative, glitchy synth layers.
pixelgrinder’s intricate production on tracks such as “Witch Hunt” and “Monolithic” blends distorted synthesizers with machine-like percussion and metal-infused guitars, creating an atmosphere that is both dystopian and hypnotic. The album's title track, "The Void Chamber", epitomizes this fusion of electronic and industrial elements, creating a trance-like state of repetitive, distorted synth loops and stomping beats.
Reflecting on his musical origins, pixelgrinder credits his early exposure to music production software in the early 2000s and his fascination with artists like Gorillaz and Nine Inch Nails for inspiring him to pursue music creation. Although his creative path briefly shifted towards film and animation, this background ultimately strengthened his ability to craft music videos that complement his music, merging visuals and sound to further immerse audiences in his dark, atmospheric world.
With plans for two more full-length albums and a series of self-produced music videos, pixelgrinder is poised to continue expanding the boundaries of electronic and industrial music.

Dilemma - External
September 20th, 2024
'External' represents a space I’ve been really excited to tap into for a long time. This song is my foray into the expanding universe of synthwave with its vibrant palette of 80s-inspired sounds and the imagery that goes along with it. With Dilemma, I am always experimenting with ways to augment, extend, and evolve my sound. While it was a challenge to create and work with sounds meant to be evoke a retro vibe but also feel modern, I believe that External represents a successful integration and a turning point in further developing my niche as an artist. Included in the release is a remix by the legendary electro-industrial artist Faderhead.
